Artwork
Daniel Speakman was commissioned to paint this beautiful picture. The name of this artwork is "Esther's Doll". Esther is a character in "1856" who journeys with her parents from England across the plains, but sadly dies before they can reach Salt Lake City, Utah. After losing Esther, her older sister carries the doll until she cannot go any further and dies from the extreme cold. The artwork was featured in the June, 2006 Ensign.
