Growing up on a dairy farm in Mesa, Arizona, Cory was educated at Mesa High School, Mountain View High School, Brigham Young University (B.A.), and the University of South Carolina (M.I.B.A.), Cory married Amy Bowden in 1981. Their children are Ethan, Ben (deceased Dec. 2005 while serving in the Argentina Rosario Mission), Atley, Emily, Cade, and Colby. Cory served in the Hamburg Germany Mission from 1979-1981. Due to schooling and work, Cory and family have lived in Provo, Utah; Columbia, South Carolina; Frankfurt am Main, Germany; Dayton, Ohio; Toronto, Ontario, Canada; Hong Kong; London, England, Northern Virginia, and finally back to Mesa in 2001.
A native of Mesa, Arizona, Randy was exposed to music at an early age and studied classical piano and violin. Even in junior high school, Randy was performing in musical groups and composing and arranging his own music. Now as a seasoned producer, composer, orchestrator and arranger, Randy has more than 60 works to his credit in many different genres. He has worked on projects with such industry greats as Gladys Knight, Phillip Ingram, Joe Pizzulo, Curtis Mayfield, Ice “T”, and also Christian Artists FFH, Michelle Tumes, Spirit Bound, and others. The #1 Christian AC hit in 2003 for the group FFH, “You Found Me,” features some of Randy’s arranging work. Randy’s production and orchestration skills can also be heard in the LDS market on projects including artists such as Kenneth Cope (“Greater Than Us All”, “My Servant Joseph”, “Women at the Well”), Janice Kapp Perry, Felicia Sorensen, Charlene Wells Hawkes, Afterglow, Steven Kapp Perry, EFY and others. Randy has also released several inspirational projects including a solo CD “Peace” and “My Beloved Christ” (with Vickey Pahnke). Randy served a mission in Brisbane, Australia, and has a music degree from BYU. He and his wife, Susie, live in the Salt Lake area with their children, Dani, Maci, and Jaxon.
Born in Lakeside, AZ, in 1922, Milli sang and created melodies from her early youth, inspired by her parents and teachers with a strong desire for the ability to write them down. She earned her BA in Music & Elementary Ed. at NAU (then ASTC) in Flagstaff in 1943 and became a well-loved singer, composer, and publisher. After rearing eight outstanding children (Jennifer, Ernie, Alma, Sam, Irma, Laura, Rita, and Lisa), Milli’s training at MCC gave a new dimension to her growing list of published songs, now more than 90, her most-loved being “Holy Child” and “Song of Charity.” Milli and Art served a “Honeymoon Mission” in Chile in 1987. They enjoy their 59 grandchildren and 25+ great-grandchildren. Milli is active in community and church groups as student, teacher, editor, missionary, genealogist, singer, music director, lyricist, composer, arranger, engraver, and publisher.
